Valley Malt · Flavour and use
Driven to create Pilsner malt as good as a German Pilsen has been our goal ever since the novel Malt Sensory Method was developed in 2016. Our Pilsner is germinated to deliver moderate Alpha and DP and then kilned to get just the right balance of cereal and bread aromas without the bitter or grassy attributes sometimes associated with this base malt. A base malt for clean and crisp lagers as well as IPA's and any beers where you'd like good enzymes and low color.
